Twins Could Eclipse 2060

Postby MINTwinsGM » Sun Nov 27, 2016 7:41 pm

With 8 games to go, and on a 5 game winning streak, the Twins technically still have a shot to eclipse their 2060 win total of 120. What would it take? Well, they would need to rattle off wins in their final 8 games to accomplish the feat, reaching 121 wins. With playoff rest in play, it's unlikely it will happen. But, it's possible!

The Twins have had a remarkable season and really are just hoping for an injury free close to the season with the playoffs around the corner. 2061 will mark the club's 7th consecutive AL Central Division Title, so they are pretty focus on championship accumulation at this point, paying less attention to the regular season.

On the year, the team has posted a +328 run differential. On the hill, they have the lowest OPS against in FBSL. Offensively, they have scored the most runs. Some stars from previous years have struggled, while others have stepped up to fill the production void left by those struggling, so it has all worked out well, so far.

Signing off,
