When the Twins drafted Bernie Kosar they knew he was special. That being said, there is generally an adjustment period to facing ML hitting. For Kosar, so far that doesn't seem like it's a thing. He is 4-0 with a 0.74 ERA and 0.85 WHIP over 36 1/3 innings, with a 4:1 strikeout to walk rate. Not too shabby.
To kick off the year, Kosar was pitching in low leverage situations, just getting his feet wet. After about a month or so of that, it became evident he was ready for more. Since then, the Twins have utilized him as their top lefty setup man and he even poached 2 saves while Lockdown was on the DL.
The team always figured Kosar would take their top LH RP role, eventually, but didn't imagine he would overtake 2060 All-Fbsl LH RP Jesse Orosco so quickly. Woah.
