High Heat has a built in error that causes more injuries to American League teams. We combat this by cutting all AL injuries in half once a sim is over. In such cases where necessary that number is rounded down (example 13 days down to 6).

Beyond the league controlled cutting of AL injuries we also offer the chance to purchase a team trainer and doctor. A team may buy one of each in the off-season by paying banking points. The cost associated is listed in the off-season banking thread which gets posted in the general section. A team may have only one of each and if unused will carry over from season to season. There is no stockpiling these two upgrades and they can't be traded.

Team trainer: Cost 400 BP

A trainer can be used once and will cut any injury in half. Once used the team will not have another until it purchases one during the off-season.


Team doctor: Cost 1200 BP

A doctor can be used once and completely heals the player it is used on. Once used the team will not have another until it purchases one during the off-season.


Here is the link to the league hospital thread. This thread is where you would post about using one of the two upgrades. You would list which upgrade you are using and what player it is being used on.

question: Can you acquire an additional doctor or trainer through a trade? If so, could you stockpile, or could you only acquire one after you have used your own (AKA you can only have one at a time)?

I covered the stockpiling but take your point on the trading. Will add in the fact that these upgrades can't be traded.
